Kim Ellis Hayes

 Ms Kim Ellis Hayes is the Chief Executive Officer of Hayes Group LLC,  a U.S. small business headquartered in North Carolina. An elected member of the International Institute of Space Law and a qualified commercial suborbital astronaut-candidate, scientist, educator, and attorney, Kim focuses on the intersection of space innovation, policy, and operations. 

Selected by the New South Wales Department of Education in 2024 as an Alumni Ambassador and the first in her family to attend university, Kim is passionate about creating meaningful impact for students, educators, and industry partners around the world through space.

As I work toward flying commercial suborbital science and opening the path to space for others, I'm building a crew of supporters who want to be part of the mission.
